About The Rock ‘n’ Read Project

Long-standing studies show that poor readers rarely ever catch up to their peers. The Rock ‘n Read Project is achieving that indicate that singing may be the unexpected key to closing the reading achievement gap. Singing activates neurons in more areas of the brain than any other activity. Music and language overlap in the brain. Children who cannot keep a steady beat usually struggle with reading.

What happens at Popup Think Tank?

Step 1: Interview the founders

We'll take a few minutes to interview Ann and Bill to learn about The Rock ‘n’ Read Project.
We'll learn about their mission, vision, challenges, and opportunities.

Step 2: Contribute your ideas, wisdom, and connections

Good ideas are deep inside of each of us. All are welcome to participate, and many are surprised how many ideas they have to offer once we get started!

Step 3: Celebrate the mission!

After the event we'll put the ideas in an Idea Book for Ann and Bill (and those who participated!). However, as much as this event is about generating new ideas, it's also about celebrating and engaging with those who are making a difference. Register today to see this process in action - and join in the creation of something our world needs.
